At WR we believe feeling safe at school begins well before a student steps foot on campus. To augment our current practices, we are delighted to share the integration of SureBus within our transportation department when school resumes this fall. Through the implementation of this comprehensive system, our primary goal is to foster a protective and nurturing atmosphere for our students during their journeys to and from school. This system enables us to enhance communication with families, promote better etiquette, and elevate overall student safety. As we seek to enhance the student experience at Western Reserve, we acknowledge that every child should have the opportunity to feel healthy and safe at school. Our dedication extends beyond physical safety as we are equally devoted to nurturing their emotional well-being.
With this in mind, we are pleased to announce on-campus counseling through a new community partnership with Family Health Services. We aim to provide equitable access to mental health services so families feel supported in meeting their child’s unique needs. This support system will enable students to fully engage themselves in complex learning and social activities when at school, confident in their well-being.
