College and Career Fair!

Yesterday, our Teen Leadership Corp classes attended a statewide event at Norwalk High School, joining over 500 other TLC students. Throughout the day, they had the opportunity to network with peers from different schools, engage in collaborative discussions about what other TLC classes are doing, and explore a variety of leadership styles. One of the key highlights was a teacher panel, where students gained insights from educators about how Teen Leadership Corp operates in other schools. This event provided our students with new perspectives and ideas that they can bring back to enrich our class. #WeR

Six of our dedicated student-athletes recently attended the Firelands Conference Leadership Seminar, where they had the opportunity to hear from several inspiring speakers. These speakers shared valuable insights on leadership, personal growth, and the importance of fostering a positive team environment.
In addition to the motivational talks, the athletes participated in a hands-on activity designed to strengthen both their leadership skills and their ability to collaborate effectively as a team. The exercise emphasized communication, trust, and problem-solving, all essential qualities for success in sports and life.
