According to The American Academy of Pediatrics, play is fundamentally important for learning 21st century skills, such as problem solving, collaboration and creativity. Play is not frivolous, it is brain building. Today's preschool play included a 'fancy birthday party' and the creation of a 'security house' complete with traps. We are WR!

Here is Mrs. Buck's class playing musical math. As a class they have been comparing numbers in math. They danced around the room and when the music stopped, they had to find a number to stand by. As a class, they identified and compared the numbers. They also made a number line. Everyone enjoyed moving and learning new skills! We are WR!
