1,000 days! Our 5th graders celebrated their one thousandth day of school today. Some students made posters, some worked on building a structure out of 1,000 marshmallows+1,000 toothpicks, 1,000 Legos or 1,000 Lincoln Logs while others hung out with their classmates.

Students in Mrs. Buck's class have been working on sentence writing. Today, these two students practiced adding details to their sentences using a silly sentence game! They had a fun time and many laughs were had!

The 7th grade STEM class has started their Automation and Robotics course this semester. Here students are working to build and understand the first of thirteen mechanisms, the gear train.

Room 102 preschoolers engaging in Valentine play dough activities. They are having fun while strengthening the muscles in their hands and fingers needed to trace, write and draw.


WR preschoolers LOVE sensory play. Last week, Room 102 searched for valentine objects hidden in the sensory table.
Cleveland Clinic states that sensory play helps children develop language and motor skills. It also helps foster social interactions, encourages experimentation and increases cognitive skills.


Kelsey Lasch ranked 16th in the State at 115lbs. Way to go Kelsey!
