Students in Miss Feliciano's Reading class continue to practice and expand their vocabulary. These students went bowling for vocabulary words. Vocabulary words were placed on bowling pins. When a pin was knocked down, the student had to define the word. The students enjoyed this activity. Pictured are students from Mrs. Harvey's room. We are WR!

Mrs. Stang’s first graders have been using ‘The Secret Stories’ to help find sound chunks in words when they are reading, and they have fun decoding secrets in a “word of the day” each day. Officer Stocker was the class visitor Friday to watch as the students found ‘secrets’ and revealed his name as the “word of the day!” Thank you for coming, Officer Stocker! We are WR!
